Why do they insist on coming in and coughing and spluttering everywhere? Stay at home with your disease! I'm pregnant and do not want to get your stinking cold, it's not fair. I don't want it when i'm not pregnant either but this is worse, especially as i have planned a couple of days sick next week so can be at home with DH I will proabably have it next week and don't want it this week too.

We get full sick pay at work and they never really pull people up on sickness, some people's records are shocking so why come in when you are blatently ill and give it to everone else - grrrrrrrrr!

Perhaps they come into work out of a sense of responsibility: they don't want to load their daily tasks onto their colleagues, one of which is pregnant and doesn't need the extra stress?

Agree with sick people staying away from work... Is grim

Hi if they get paid then fair enoughtake the time off if you are genuinely poorly, but most people don't and to be honest if it is just a cold then you cant avoid them they are everywhere.

The day after I found out I was pregnant I was working with someone who later in the day realised they had chickenpox!
