Hi,

It's not a pg symptom or anything but I've got athletes foot which is driving me cccrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaazzzzzzzyyyyyyy!!!!

I've had it for literally months now - and I've been to the pharmacy but they say there's nothing that's 'safe' in pg - like so many things of course the treatments aren't tested on of people (which I totally understand).

Anyway, it is so itchy and I just need something to stop it itching Confused

The pharmacist suggested I 'avoid getting it' Hmm. Kinda late for that Sad

Sorry that it's all a bit tmi and a bit grim, but I hope someone can help....

Oh, meant to say, I'm 22+5 now, and I meant that the treatments aren't tested on pg people, not 'of'!

Pop to the doctor! I got it for the first time ever when I was pg with ds and I am sure I had canestan cream for it!

Oooh, I hadn't bothered with the doc after what the GP said.

Will call them tomorrow to see when I can get an appt (hope it's before the baby arrives in March Wink)

I'm 26 weeks and I've been prescribed caneston by the doc for thrush (twice!) so imagine you could get it or similar for athletes foot.

I've been using lamisil all through and never even thought about it!!!

Biscuitsandtea · 28/11/2011 14:37

Oooh thank your pinkpeppers - I'll try boots. Still haven't got round to phoning the docs!
