just wanted to post to express how happy I'm feeling today and all because the weather has cheered up enough for me to start washing baby clothes!!!! Has made me very excited that I can start washing it all and getting it dry and start putting it all away ready for baby! So really just a little cheery post about the little thing making my day, any one else having a good day because of something little?! xxx

It's my birthday tomorrow. I'm not yet forty and I have nearly finished my Christmas shopping!

hannahhkj19 I'm with you, did my very first baby clothes washing today, and can't help tearing up a bit when I see them hanging in the clothes horse. For the first time in my life I actually feel excited about washing and ironing, I'm sure that that will wear out pretty soon :)

:) arh love this post I had a perfect day as well. My DP is in the Army and had a day off so came home late last night & surprised me I was happy from the minute I woke up cos he was next to me and i won't get that again now till Christmas. we didn't do much - stayed in pyjamas till 2pm then got a pub lunch before he had to go back.

Question why are you all washing baby clothes? Are they not new ones? Or should I be washing new ones for a reason I just can't think if

Well, they've been hanging in warehouses and shops, touched by loads of people and I just like the whole ritual to be honest. Being pregnant for me has been made of little rituals and I just want to savor them.
