23 weeks, sudden huge increase in movements

Am I worrying about nothing? I've been feeling movements for a while but nothing like the last few days. It seems pretty constant, maybe a 20 minute break between massive gymnastic sessions! Baby was pretty much wedged head down when we went for our recent scans so could it just be that it's freed itself up a little and is making the most of the extra room? I've also started peeing all the time again, after a break of a good few weeks. I'm seeing the midwife on Wednesday anyway, I'm just worried since she told me at booking in that an increase in movements was something to be aware of (in regards to what I still have no idea...)

I'm 25 weeks and have noticed loads of movement over the last few weeks. I think it is the increase in size over this period that means you notice it more, but the baby is still small enough to have a good leap about.

I had a midwife appointment last Monday and she said that they are always very active around this time.

So I am sure you have nothing to worry about but if it is concerning you then don't hesitate to give the community midwives a call. I am sure they would be happy to reassure you :)

Brilliant thank you :) It is lovely, you can see my tummy move about and dp and the dc can feel the movements, but it kept me up all night! I do seem to have increased in size rapidly the last 3 weeks, I wore the same outfit out to dinner last night as I had 3 weeks previously and my bump was far more obvious. It's reaching my ribs already and making them uncomfortable so lord knows how I'll cope for the next 17 weeks Hmm

Glad it's not just me :) Things have taken a massive turn for the worse, I've been on the toilet all evening (tmi) I think I may have food poisoning, we went out to dinner at Nandos with friends yesterday and am worried I may have eaten somehting bad. I feel blody awful, keep going ot the loo and all shivery :( I wonder if that's why baby has seemed agitated today? Dp is spending his last night with his best friend before he moves abroad so I don't want to call him home, but I feel rotten :(
