Grohisgirl last pregnancy it was gregs cheese and onion pasties and it was a major I could kill for craving ate one boiling hot whilst ordering another! Classy. Would love to actually way something to eat with this pg though..

Cutelittlecatlover · 27/11/2011 13:32

I'm currently consuming my body weight in cheese daily, I'm worried I'll be the size of a house by the time the baby arrives!

stripeyZ · 27/11/2011 22:14

Fuckity - I'm having boy!!

How strange. Wonder if there's reason. . ?

Grohlsgirl · 28/11/2011 07:34

Clandy, before mat leave started i was getting off the bus from work at a different stop just because it was opposite a gregs... That was so i could consume my 2nd or 3rd pasty of the day. Bump was affectionately known as Pasty for most of 2nd trimester!

LouisaJF · 28/11/2011 10:53

Jelly! Orange jelly. I made some the other night and sat sniffing the packet until it had set.

heartmoonshadow · 28/11/2011 11:30

Sadly this baby likes spicey things with odd combinations, I am loving spicy chicken with chilli sauce, mint sauce and lemon. Very odd!

broccolitrees · 28/11/2011 11:30

a craving would be great! i just don't fancy anything - it's a struggle to eat Sad feel bleuugrghh (6 weeks) think i might put a jacket spud in for lunch though

scarletfingernail · 28/11/2011 12:17

I massively craved apples and jacket potatoes when I was expecting DS. (Another boy to add to the apple craving list)

This time I could eat bacon butties for breakfast, lunch and dinner but am restricting myself to 2 a week. The 2 other things I'm loving at the moment are satsumas and watercress.

I've mostly gone off stuff. Not interested in eating chocolate or vegetables at all.

broccolitrees · 28/11/2011 12:57

definitely off chocolate and apples are making me gag

susiey · 28/11/2011 13:22

Cans of sprite zero or 7 up free! All forms of crisps especially salt and vinegar!

Am on dc4 on previous pregnancies diet coke , crisps, beetroot and sparklinkg water despite hating it pre pregnancy!

PamBeesly · 28/11/2011 14:14

anything acidic, chilli, citrus, apples, vinegar...ahhh. I'm having a boy and I craved only apples and oranges for the first 20 weeks! I went off meat and eggs...for all of you doing the guessing game :)

RumpleForeskin · 28/11/2011 17:21

I'm having a boy and i went through apples and Appletiser and then I went through a huge stage of Twiglets and pork pies.

Remember to note them in your baby books as you forget until threads like this pop up.

Yum.

VikingLady · 29/11/2011 13:33

Fruit. Lots and lots and lots of fruit. Preferably anything expensive and out of season. My mum had the same thing with me... It's costing a fortune!

Oh, and milk by the bucketful. Semi skimmed, and ice cold. Think it's time for another pint.

goatshavestrangeeyes · 29/11/2011 13:50

Trebor soft mints, only the green ones though. And strawberry pop tarts, so wrong but yet so right!

Emsgale · 29/11/2011 14:01

oltob · 29/11/2011 14:05

early days when I had a horrible metallic taste it was old fashioned lemonade, haribo sour tangs, polos. When able to taste again potato salad for about three days then done.

I was very partial to broccoli with both pregnancies but not sure if that's psychosomatic in trying to ensure the baby has some nutrients. Other than the haribo supermix, particularly the little people that I've devoured in both, have shown a bit more restraint this time round though.

& flapjacks. I have tried to restict these too though, but just polished off a fruity number from Costa, yum.

Langoria · 30/11/2011 16:32

Basically I'm eating anything savoury.

Bread, lots of bread, sandwiches, toast, garlic bread. Mmm Bread.

Also Crisps. Wotsits, Doritos and Pringles. In fact last night my OH told me off for eating half a tube of BBQ pringles - how rude.

Dutchie77 · 30/11/2011 17:47

vikinglady... I drink loads of milk too (whole fat preferably) and eat at least two apples, some tangerines, grapes, nectarines a day! Yum.

VikingLady · 02/12/2011 09:49

A friend once told me she craved rare steak all the way through pregnancy. She reckoned it was so she was sick of the sight of raw meat by the time the baby arrived, and it was nature's way of ensuring she did not eat her young Grin

oltob · 02/12/2011 11:26

latest is avocados - had two with tea last night and in my sarnie at lunchtime.

working9while5 · 02/12/2011 12:21

I craved strawberries and oranges last pregnancy. I was also violently ill a lot and off most of the rest of my food.

This pregnancy it's all about Gregg's festive bakes, Burger King Chicken Royales, chicken and ham pies and other starchy, lardy bad-for-you stuff and I haven't been sick once.

Yet at 13 weeks pregnant I am A STONE AND A HALF lighter than I was at this stage in my last pregnancy. How does that make any sense?

journoem · 02/12/2011 12:30

Potatoes! I have tins of new potatoes that I am just eating on their own. Just had some for breakfast Blush DP suggested putting them on toast (my other craving) but I didn't go quite that far Grin

lucylookout · 02/12/2011 12:56

potatoes, potatoes, potatoes in any form (apart from crisps) and bratwurst with mustard

all4u · 02/12/2011 13:11

Drinking lots and lots of water and sleeping - how I miss the afternoon naps!

Mum2Luke · 02/12/2011 14:07

I used to crave Rowntrees fruit gums, could eat a whole pack to myself lol.
