Consultant Appt Tomorrow

Hi - am 23 weeks pregnant and have a consultant appointment tomorrow as i had problems delivering the placenta after dd was born - it basically had rotted away (sorry if tmi)

Anyway, can anyone enlighten me as to what will happen during this appt? Is it just a chat or will there be an examination?

I would expect a chat and possibly a feel the belly exam only like the midwife does

had mine today. Not seen by consultant after all but by senior house doctor. Talked me through my notes and handed them over and then checked heartbeat, sample and blood pressure like a normal antenatal appointment. You might get a bit extra given your problems with the placenta last time round but where I am I think you would just get an extra appointment for a chat/checkup around the 32-34 week mark.
