There have been so many complaints by people who are never offered seats on the train/tube when visibly pregnant so I wanted to share my lovely experience of this morning's commute.
I asked for a seat when about to faint/throw up (nobody would know I am pregnant yet so not surprisingly I hadn't been offered) and the nearest bloke leapt out of his seat and made space so I had plenty of air. Another asked if I needed any help when I got off the train and a lady who'd been in the same carriage stopped me as I wobbled my way down the platform and made sure I was ok.
I am embarrassed to say that my hormonal self cried at all this kindness and concern shown by these complete strangers. People can be lovely! x
