I am 25 weeks with my thirs baby.

I had pre eclampsia with ds1. My bp was 147/98 at booking this time so not great but no big deal either (for me). I take my blood pressure at home and it has been in the eighties but it's back in the nineties again. At what pressure do I worry? At twenty bar over booking? Also I see the midwife two weekly and last week she said it was 120/70 but I can't believe that was correct. Normally it is 120/86 at home and around that when the hospital and other midwife take it. If it was I have jumped thirty bar in six days! Do I take her on her word that it was70? Not sure at what I need to worry seeing as my baseline bp is so high to start with.

Not sure where my warning level is? With DS1 I was hospitalised at 90 but it was never 90 at any point in first pg until PE kicked in

My BP varied too but I didn't get pre eclampsia again after the first pregnancy. If you are concerned can you ask for dip sticks to check for protein?

I have had preeclampsia with 2 of 4 previous pregnancies and high blood pressure with 4/4 . My blood pressure at booking was 130/80 at home it is normally in the /70s. I. Have been told the following by my consultant.

Of at home it rises above /90 call for an assesment same day at hospital.
If before 36 weeks it rises above /95 ( and stay there) it means medication
If before 36 weeks it rises above /100 and stays there it means hospital until delivery.
If before 36 weeks it rises and i get an amount of protein it means delivery at whatever stage.
If after 36 weeks it rises above/95 it means delivery.

I love this doctor of all the doctors i have seen he is the best because he make a clear plan and its simple straightforward no faffing.

With my other children it was basically the same i ended up induced at 35 and 36 weeks with two but going to full term with 2.

It is normal for your blood pressure to fall a little during the second trimester mine is currently lower and has had a dip during all the pregnancies at this stage ( i am 26 weeks) at around 32 weeks it normally starts to climb again and for me this is when the problems happen as it just doesnt seem to knwo when to stop.

Forgot to add if you are worried AT ALL call your midwife and ask for an extra check or to go to the day assesment unit. Dont worry about bothering them i have been told countles times they would rather see me than not and potentially miss something.
