Cramp in thigh

Has anyone else had this whilst pregnant?? It is driving me nuts............everyday I get cramp in my left thigh and I can't seem to stretch it out.

Normally happens at work or on the train so I guess it is caused by sitting for periods of time but what can I do - I have to sit down to work and travel?!

Any suggestions??? Ice packs and the similar not very practical............

runtus - I've never had cramp in my thigh but do occasionally get cramp in my calves. I find if I eat a banana or two it usually helps to ease the liklihood of calf cramps - maybe it would work for your thigh cramps too. Usually it means a potassium deficiency I think. All I can offer I'm afraid - hope it gets better soon.

When are you due? My babe #3 is due March 25th.

Thanks for the reply - I'll give the banana a shot..........won't do any harm anyway!

Baby due on 24th May so a long way to go yet....
