Is this "normal"?

I've started getting on and off a pain when twisting to get out the car, it's like a pulled muscle spasm and then goes after a minute or so. Im 15w+1.

I'd like to know myself.Currently I'm training myself to not to plonk my bottom into the seat but lower it gradually-strangely my backside seems to be very heavy lately when it comes to sitting down.
Another thing I'm practising at the moment is getting in and out of the car "ladylike"-with legs joined together as "normal way" seems to give me some discomfort(exactly when twisting)
According to some pg info the ligaments are stretching right now to accomodate growing womb, the body releases hormone called relaxine to help it but the downside is that we are more prone to injuries at this stage (14 weeks here now).

I asked my midwife about this and she said it was the ligaments all stretching and getting in and out of car was one of most noticeable times to feel it.

I had this with my first pregnancy. My mw recommended sitting on a carrier bag to help when swivelling round to get out of the car. Keep your knees and feet together and hey presto!

Hope it helps Smile
