I'd usually eat toast or drink lemonade or chocolate milk. We have no suitable cereal in the house and I'm too ill to go out. Any suggestions? I'm literally lying on the sofa unable to lift my head but I don't know what I can have to make it better. :(

if your waiting to have a blood test and they said do not eat, you cant really eat :( Im in exactly the same boat im fed up of all of the test, which every nurse and midwife I know has said it is stupid to make a pregnant woman fast!!!!! but it's just the way they do things, if you feel that bad ring your mw or doc and ask them.
Foods good to eat are toast, but watch what you put on it, no jam or anything sugary, peanut butter or anything like that; and stay away from fizzy (unless diet/sugar free- still not advised lol) and no chocolate milks :(
both my parents have bad diabetes so if you want to find foods good to eat if you have high sugar; go on the nhs site and look up diabetes; i like my fizzy drinks but i always go for diet and sugar free; usually i drink very dilute sugar free squash or something, water is too bland!

www.nhs.uk/conditions/gestational-diabetes/Pages/Introduction.aspx

(link for gestational diabetes, but clicks through to type 1 and 2 diabetes, look under treatment for good foods to eat)

hope that helps xx

Thanks :)

I'm not waiting for a test, just monitoring because of a higher volume of fluid. I wish they would give me another GTT and have done with it. I'm 34 weeks now and fed up with all this.
