Was driving today and all of a sudden, felt some grinding to the right hand side of my pelvis. Only lasted a minute or so and I wondered whether it was baby moving and having a nose around down there, maybe thinking about engaging? I'm 36+1 and the baby has been lying to the left (had scan last week and head is down on left hand side of my body but facing right hand side) so if still in that position, the only thing it could have been had baby not moved was his/her hands but it felt like quite a bit of pressure against my pelvic bone. First pregnancy so don't know what engaging feels like but my foof has felt a bit sore and tender for a couple of days and there is a bit of a dull ache in my pelvis but what happened today was quite a sudden pain; although haven't had it since. Have told baby he/she can't come out until I'm 37 weeks, my mum always engaged in labour with the exception of me, and I engaged the day before, she had 5 kids.
