HELP - bald patch

My hairdresser discovered a large bald patch in my hair today. I have very thick hair and it's on my crown do never noticed. It has left me cold like the blood has drained from me.

I have a 4 week old.

Can anybody offer anything here. Not really sure what I'm asking of you. Anyone had this etc???

I've no experience OP but I have read that your hair does not fall out as normal during pregnancy and after you deliver your hair can fall out en masse leaving you with some places lighter than others. I also read this corrects itself after a few weeks. I think its normal. I would mention it to my GP if it was a lot and if you are very worried. I think if you up your protein it stimulates hair and nail growth too. I'm not an expert hope someone will be along to help soon. Congratulations on the baby!
