second sweep this morning... what are my chances???

monday (38+1) i had my first sweep, and i was 2cm, cervix was thick. Lost some plug (with tiny bit of dark blood)

Today i had my second, cerix about 1cm thick, slightly posterior, 3cm dilated and mw said she could have easily broken my waters. I've been having cramping period type pains since (not regular but quite often every 6 to 10 mins)

so what do you think my chances are?

Excellent by the sound of it. You need to start getting the cellophane off the moses basket!!

I had a sweep (many years ago) with DS2 at about 7pm and had him at 3am.

Exciting!

second. first was 16 days late! so hoping this one will be quicker!

Are you all prepared?

I was a bit more mellow second time around.

I am prepared as far as bags packed, clothes ready etc but very nervous about birth, ds was all a bit traumatic.

Anything interesting happening blushing?
