Bleeding

Hi ladies
Wondering if anyone has any experience of bleeding at 17 weeks? It's been on and off for the last 2 weeks- went to A&E but got fobbed off, so off to the specialist antenatal clinic tomorrow- hoping everything ok!

Hope it's ok too. Some people bleed a little with no consequences but always best to check. Not sure what you mean by fobbed off but sounds annoying.
Good luck tomorrow.

Thanks- probably wasn't fobbed off but felt it a bit, just 'don't know why, go home and come back if you're worried'

Antenatal was much better, still don't know why but were much more sympathetic and understood that I feel worried, and said it was normal and quite right to be worried rather than feeling like a bit of a burden. Heard a heart beat which is good, and been told to stay at home and rest for a few days to see if that helps.

So now very, very bored!

Glad you had your mind put at rest.

I think bleeds during pregnancy can be placental bleeds (nothing bad, just one of those things). I watched a US prog about a woman who didn't know she was pregnant until she gave birth and she was adamant she'd had periods throughout (the doctor on there said there are many reasons why women bleed during pregnancy).
