At my 20 week scan, baby was lying cross ways, looking down not up. I was getting some lovely strong kicks on one side of my tummy

I recently went swimming and ever since I noticed no kicks, only tickly small movements very low down (behind pubes!). I went to midwife to get checked over and she said the baby was fine but could not tell me it's position.

Since then I am still having low down movments but also:
Baby hands or feet pressing into my cervix/rectum from inside (most peculiar!)
The feeling of a head or bum in my pelvis when I am walking, like how it felt when DS head was engaged but not quite so John Wayne bad.

Could it be that this baby is now engaged? Does that happen in second pregnancies? Or could it have flipped to breech with bum down hence the kicking of my internal organs?

According to what I read in one of my apps the other day baby practices going head down from 23-24 week onward. But still plenty of time for it to have a swim around n change position yet!

Ah! that would explain it. Especially as the bowling ball between the legs feeling seems to go away for a bit sometimes

Thank you melliebobs!!!
