No it's lovely, enjoy you lucky thing.

Last week at 33 weeks I was measuring 38 weeks so was sent for a scan to check the size of the baby. The baby is only 1 week ahead so not a problem.

What does palpitating mean in pregnancy? I've heard of heart palpitations, do you mean the same thing? Have googled palpitating in pregnancy but it's just going on about heart palpitations.

fhdl34 · 22/11/2011 12:31

s'ok, have found it under a different spelling. They've never done this to me because I'm too big so I've been having growth scans instead.

youtalkintome · 22/11/2011 13:29

oh sorry you meant palpating as in size i thought you meant that you just found out you were 4 weeks ahead of dates my scan and were having palpitations GrinConfused

I wouldn't rely on MW feeling baby as a guide to size they're often wrong if you do mean dates then like i said lucky you, could do with a couple of weeks knocked off my dates.

nickelbabe · 22/11/2011 13:37

It's only an approximation, anyway.
And it depends on who does it!
You could switch midwife next week and get a size perfect for your dates! Grin

don't worry. :)

i am not overly worried and just realised i totally spelled it wrong Blush but am off to a consultant this week because of it. she actually wrote my date down wrong and sent me for blood tests based on the dates she thought i was until i noticed and i said ummm i am only so and so weeks. already getting a high bmi scan so they are bringing that forward and now the consultant app who will prob just shrug at me, all seems a bit of a faff. i have bigger babies not massive beasts but bigger. sigh.
