Help! 14 weeks pregnant and can't stop sneezing!

I'm 14 weeks pregnant with baby number 2 and I have been sneezing non stop since about 4 weeks pregnant! It wakes me up at night and drives me insane. I don't have any symptoms of a cold, my nose isn't stuffy, I don't have any allergies, I've never had hayfever in my life (anyway its November!)....what on earth could be causing the persistent sneezing! I didn't experience this with my first pregnancy. Anyone else experienced this?

hmm that is very strange! I had some of this in my 2nd trimester, but I figured it was the dust I was kicking up from nesting Wink Grin I often found it stopped when I was in the shower.

it could be something in the air even tho you don't have allergies.

hopefully someone comes along who has some (better) more ideas for you

If there's an allergy there's little u can do. I found out I was pg in June and suffer real bad with hayfever and gp said I couldn't take anti hystemeenes (?) best I could do was apply Vaseline to my top lip and around my nose cos it stops n e pollen particles getting in my. Looked a bit daft but better than the teary eyes n constant sneezing

It's called gestational rhinitis, I had it with dd3 (4th pregnancy and never had it before) from about the same time as you, it did go eventually but my GP prescribed me Piriton (Piriton is fine during pregnancy) in the meantime, sneezing 24/7 is knackering!

I had that too in this pregnancy, it's so annoying and my sneezes were really forceful! I am 23 weeks now and it's nowhere near as bad.

Me too, from around 6 weeks. Am 23w now and it's easing off on its own, but am treating it as good exercise for my pelvic floor!

I have it to but I constantly have a blocked nose but no cold and I gave lost my sense of smell and taste! Thanks for piriton advice might go back to gp and see if I can get some x
