i had a spinal for my c/s with ds2 but the only back ache i have is now i'm pg with no3. which i am sure is down to extra weight and not ebing as fit as i used to be.

how long ago did you have your c/s?

I had a spinal for my cs 2.8yrs ago and am suffering backache in my current pregnancy, but put that down to constantly bending to lift ds in and out of car/bath/bed etc. Didn't suffer backache before this pregnancy though.

I had a spinal just under 4 years ago and have not really suffered back ache as a result of it. I did have slight lower back ache but I think that was due to the extra weight I was carrying and poor posture.

There are studies on this and the ones I've seen conclude that it isn't the spinal that causes the backache but the effects of pregnancy, excess weight, lack of fitness, and carrying babies and hunching over to feed etc etc. ie just as many woman complained of backache who hadn't had an epidural/spinal.

I had a spinal. No backache.

I had lower back ache for 4 weeks after my spinal for a c-section - I think it was trapped wind as its all gone now (15 weeks after)
