Ive started to feel something but im not sure whether its the baby, I feel like someone let a little bird loose in my tummy, but it seems too far down, I may be wrong but I feel like its dancing just above my cervix! can anyone tell me if this could be the baby?

My first movements felt were right 'down there', sort of behind the front of your fanjo Blush

I likened the feeling to a mild bump on the funny bone on your elbow

It was ODD! Reckon it was at about 16 weeks. STarted seeing movement (by resting remote control on my belly) at around 20 ish weeks.

ah thank you so it could indeed be the baby - thats just given me a big Grin ive been asking everyone I know but most people seem to have felt them higher up - I was starting to worry if there was something else in there as well!!

Cant wait until my OH and SD can feel it too im finally starting to feel pregnant

i got movement very low to start with im 30 weeks and still get them that low at times

I started to feel what felt like a twitch very low down at around 18 weeks. She still feels pretty low down (i'm 25 weeks now) but I'm starting to feel things a bit higher up in my actul tummy area now.

With DD1 I had light fluttering at 16 weeks and proper kicks from 18 weeks. Lovely. Less lovely at 30+ weeks when they really start to hurt!!

worldgonecrazy · 21/11/2011 11:33

A bit different for me as I started out with twins so they were squashed up a bit (found out we'd lost a twin at 15 weeks). I got a tickly feeling sort of where my left ovary would be, like gas bubbles moving, around 13 weeks which is very early for a first baby. Proper movements were around 16 weeks but that was because DD had less room in there due to the circumstances.

V low down at 14 weeks with ds.

At my 16wk appointment you could see and feel the ripples about 2 inches below my belly button. MW was most amused.

First felt something at 18 weeks but they were very low down and almost like bubbles popping. At 21 weeks is when I felt proper little kicks/punches/rolls. Oh this is my 1st too

Grin wait til 30 weeks when your ribs are being bashed from within, and you'll miss the freaky twinges that low!

My DH has written on our noticeboard in the hall 'Life Is Tough Enough Without Being Kicked From The Inside'

Makes me Grin every time I walk past it

I felt mine along the 'waist band' of my jeans... so where the under bump fabric meets the over bump stretchy bit. I did worry at first that I was squashing him with the tight band but it was exactly the same if I wore leggings.

PamBeesly · 21/11/2011 19:36

Low down in my tummy 1st movements at 22 weeks, I'm 26 weeks and now he brushes up to my belly button but he has never gone further up.
