Third pregnacy dh not happy!

i have found out yesterday i am pregnant with my third child, while i am over the moon my dh is not a bit happy we have been going through a bit of a rough patch and he seems to think i have tricked him i will be happy to have this child with him or without him, just wish he could be happy and gratefull that we can have children when so many cant. am i being selfish?

No your not being selfish, it took two to tango! what does he want you to do? have an abortion or get it adopted, he isnt trapped at all, so many men walk ( or run) away as soon as they find out the woman is pregnant, others stay and make life unbearable. Everything happens for a reason. He will just have to get used to the idea, as long as your happy, its your body, dont worry about him, it must be a shock, try to be understanding. x

Were you using contraception? If not, then he has no right to be pissed off, tbh.

I had come off my contraception due to problems with it and made him fully aware of what would happen i guess i just presumed that was the out come he wanted too but obviously not. I feel so hurt he could even react this way

If he was having unprotected sex (knowingly) and didn't want another baby, then he is out of order, of course.

I no the shit has hit the fan but even though everything is falling apart i am so happy that i have a beautiful baby growing inside me

You should be happy, your children (including your unborn baby) are the most precious thing that you will ever have in your life. Try to enjoy these early days of pregnancy and ignore ( difficult i know) his negativity. And we are all right, he knew there was a chance you could get pregnant so if he never wanted any more kids he should have done something about it, there is the "man pill" and why is it always down to the woman to deal with contraception and their fault when they do end up pregnant.and CONGRATUATIONS by the way. x

Thanks everybody this was my first time to ever post on anything, great to get it all out i feel much better and wiil def be on again. i love being a mother its the best feeling in the world and no matter what happens i always be happy and grateful for my children xx
