i have a dd and my pregnancy with her was great.
i am 17 weeks and this pregnancy is so diffeerent i am thinking its a boy. i had implantation bleed on day of due period. i then had a browny discharge for a week at 8 weeks when i thought i was losing my bump. i have felt worse in this pregnancy too although i aint been sick. i also look like crap. my skin is so bad and with dd it was clear and i looked great.

just wondering if others have had differnet pregnancies depending on sex of baby

Definately. I have a boy and a girl and I'm expecting another boy. Both boy pregnancies have been much easier - feeling sick from about 6 - 12 weeks, that's all. With dd, the sickness was much worse and lasted until gone 20 weeks.

I am interested in this as when pg with my dd, i felt sick from week 6 to week 12 and was actually sick a few times, i am pregnant atm (7 weeks) and i have felt REALLY sick from a couple of days after missed AF but havent actually been sick but it is definately much much worse this time.

Like you I had a DD first(pregnancy not too bad), then when I was pregnant with DS I had all day nausea and vomitting for 4 months,a major bleed at 22 wks, SPD .....you name it.
However part of me wondered if it was just due to being nearly 5 yrs older than with my first pregnancy. I think no two pregnancies are ever the same.

I have a ds who is 3 when i was pregnant with him i had an easy pregnancy, looked great was not sick once felt a bit sick at the beginning but that was all, I am now 38 weeks pg & its suppost to be a girl (so i have been told at 22 week scan) & this pregnancy has been horrible, i am not glowing at all, my skin is not great & i was literally bed ridden between weeks 5-7, i am starting to feel a bit sick again now, i have never actually been sick though in either pregnancies its just nausea.

I didn't feel any different between dd and ds, but the bump was a lot neater and smaller with ds (my second). I felt a lot different with the dts - felt and looked awful

Had exactly the same pregnancy with each of my dd's.

i had 3 very different pregnancies. felt and looked different each time. my mum was convinced it was because the baby would be different sex, but i have 3 boys so not the case!

Pregnancy no.1 - I threw up several times a day every day until 16weeks. I had blood-pressure that would suddenly go through the roof for no particular reason. I needed several visits to the maternity unit for monitoring.

Pregnancy no.2 - I felt sick but only threw up once during the whole pregnancy. No blood pressure problems and no monitoring until labour.

I had a boy both times.

miscarried at 11 weeks .... felt like crap.. was anaemic and really really tired (no nausea or sickness)

DD9..... on iron early on... nausea for the first 12 weeks.. often sick.. really tired... after 12 weeks.. felt 100% bloodpressure normal... 8lb 4oz DD

DS7..... ill from the moment I conceived!! migraines.. nausea, sickness..anaemic, tired.. Dr thought I was having twins.. turns out I had a corpus luteum (SP) cyst.. at about 16 weeks started to feel fine...bloodpressure normal
DS 8lb 7oz

I think it depends on the complications of the pregnancy to how you are feeling...
