Typing on phone so please excuse spelling.

I am 19 weeks and really bloody ill at the minute, wondering if it could be flu but no temp so maybe not.

I am in agony with my head, sinus pain and headache.
Whole body is aching and a lot of muscle pain.
Runny nose, sore throat and cough.
Sickness, can't keep food down and no appetite.
Skin is itchy, feels like things crawling on me. Scratched till I bled it has been so bad.
Extreme tiredness and I mean extreme. Slept for 16 of the last 24 hours. Can't stay awake longer than 3 hours without falling sleep. Dizzy and lightheaded all the time.

Anyone else experience anything like this, could it be flu even with no temperature.

You need to get checked out for Obstetric Cholestasis. The main symptom is itchiness but can also cause nausea. Below is a copy/paste of the BBC symptoms of OC.

However, the specific symptoms of obstetric cholestasis include:

itching that generally begins - or is most intense - on the arms, legs, palms of the hands and soles of the feet
itching that's usually worse at night
problems sleeping
tiredness
poor appetite
nausea
jaundice - yellowing of whites of eyes and skin (uncommon)

I've only ever had flu twice and would not wish it on a worst enemy. But the fact uve been able to function enough to do a post on your phone I'd say cold! But best to get checked out either way Smile

I had swine flu in 2009/2010. I had a couple of days of sniffles and an unproductive cough. A day when I was so tired I couldn't keep my eyes open. Then a day when I had major bouts of D&V. I never ran a temperature until well after the D&V started (if then), but it was confirmed as SF by swab and culture.

I had flu again last winter. My temperature bounced around like a yo-yo, but depending on exactly where it was I sometimes felt OK. I've had my share of grotty colds/sinusitis and this was completely different. I certainly wouldn't say an ability to post a message on the internet means you can't have flu!

Are you keeping water down? If not make very sure you're not getting dehydrated.

I'd call someone to make sure it is "just" flu and not something like OC. Keep your fluid levels up and look after yourself. Hope you feel better soon :)

Poor you, it is horrible feeling poorly when you are not pregnant. However, 10 times worse when you are. Ring your out of hours midwife cover for some advice. It will put your mind at rest. Drink plenty and rest.

Currently 31 weeks and feeling pretty much the same, except not itchy. Loads of nasty virsus going around at the moment.
