I've lost my maternity notes! What can I do?

With just under 4 weeks to go, I've realised I've misplaced (?) my maternity notes. I've spent the morning turning the house upside down but to no avail. My midwife is on holiday. I've had a very straight forward pregnancy, but I don't know what to do now. Any ideas?

Does it really matter? I mean, how much does it matter if it's been straightforward? How long's she off for? You poor love.

mine never said anything except which way up the baby was and what my bp was (all normal). Oh, and that english was my first language! I wouldn't worry!

I kind of think that it doesn't matter - I don't even know when I lost them. I just thought that I'd better start to carry them with me now I'm reaching the final stretch. My midwife is off for 2 weeks, and I've got an appointment with the consultant at the hospital next week.

thanks for the reassuring words. I supppose I could get a new set so that my contact details, blood group etc were to hand. The hospital has my notes from last time don't they? So they've got all the info on the fun and games we had with dd1

Last time, I constantly forgot to take my maternity notes with me to midwife, hospital, wherever. It was comical, but it wasn't really a hassle, because my pregnancies have all been "low" risk, anyway, and there wasn't anything much for them to know about, anyway.
