Muscular pain around bump - normal pregnancy niggle?

I realise most of you aren't doctors or midwives but I just wanted to check whether what I'm experiencing is a normal niggle before I call mine. I'm 29+6 and for the last 24 hours have had sore pains around my abdomen (bump and round the back). It feels like the sort of pain you get when you've been coughing lots (which I haven't been - although DD has a cough so I might start soon...). Don't remember getting Braxton Hicks last time around so not sure what they feel like but this is like a constant nagging pain that is worse when I try and move around rather than intermittent contraction-type pains. Back of neck/shoulders also a bit sore but I wonder whether that is because I've been getting in awkward positions to compensate for the pains further down.

Before I call the midwife - does this sound familiar to anyone? I've had a flu jab so it's probably not that? And pelvis downwards is fine so doubt it's SPD.

Thanks for any reassurance or top tips...

Probably just one of those things, but ring MW. If you have anything else like a headache, frequency of weeing's gone up, anything at all, tell them. If your still getting pain despite what MW says to do then def go and get prodded. Not worth the worry.

Thanks Oeisha. Having done some googling I wonder whether it's round ligament pain? Sound likely to anyone?

Yup. Probably just that, especially if it's low down, but, ring MW anyway. You're best off feelign like a prat for ringing, than not and worrying or missing something (it won't be this, but pre-eclampsia can present as upper "gastric" pains for example - it doesn't sound like this, but as with my abdo pains (all low down) I get with a headache and flashign lights, I have to get checked every bloody time, just not worth the risk). My round ligament pains were def. stretching pains and were mostly low down, but everyone will be different. So ring. Put your mind at ease if nothign else. And if it doesn't feel right, ring again.

MW has said to take some paracetamol and go in if the pain isn't relieved by that.

How are you doing nowKtay ? Hopefully it's gone!

Oh hello - thanks for thinking of me! I went in in the end as the paracetamol didn't touch it. They gave me a thorough examination and seemed confident it wasn't anything pregnancy-related. Not round ligament pain apparently as my pains were further up. The pains aren't any better but it is reassuring to know it's nothing to worry about.
