Lower Abdominal Muscles feeling 'worked out'

Am ten weeks today and feel, like I have for the past month or so, like I have been doing lots of sit ups. My lower abdomen muscles feel really 'worked' (trust me, they're not!) and sometimes, when I have rolled over in the night, they have 'pulled' to the extent I have woken up. Has anyone else had this, and what is it...? (BTW not worried or anything, just curious)

Probably just your ligaments stretching (with the turning over in bed - friggin hurts, like you've been stabbed). And the rest is probably just everything 'growing'. If the pain's stopping you doing things, then it's def. worth a visit to the MW and ruling out things like pelvic gurdle pain.

Oh! I forgot to add, if you're getting pain anywhere else, especially in shoulders, or are getting any other 'odd' symptoms (headaches, bleeds etc) then def. see someone today. I'm sure it's just stretching, but, well, best be on the safe side.

Er... its not a pain, just a feeling like I've been at the sit ups (and not massively so.) Thanks for the response though

Sorry, should have explained myself better. It could be something like PGP/SPD despite not being painful. Others have described it to me as feeling like they've had too much sex, or exercised too much initially.
Probably just your ligaments, but if it's causing concern, wave it past a MW.

Okay, thanks!

I am 12+5weeks and had these pains for around 5/6 weeks now especially when I get in and out of car, up from bed or after going to the loo. I went to GP who told me it was ligaments and everything growing and stretching.

Ah, I thought it probably would be soemthing along those lines, although it doesn't feel like a stretchy feeling as such, just more like too many sit ups!
