Help, so painful, what aids going to the loo!?

I just hate not being able to go, and being bloated :( :(

Prune juice, more fibre, loads of water and I used to go for a swim (or float around) which did the trick. I also bought senokot from the chemist if needed.

foods full of fibre ( dried apricots, dates, prunes) and lots to drink.

I found Fibergel helped - it softens doesn't cause explosions unless you have lots of it.

Ditto. I got Lactulose from Boots which is fine to take in pregnancy. Hope this helps!

Also I eat 2 apples and a few satsumas every day (because I love them too!)

TopazMortmain · 17/11/2011 10:24

Second vote for lactulose! Also weetabix and bananas.

Cabbage and beans (not together though). You might have to put up with smelly trumps though. Lol

sospanfach · 17/11/2011 13:12

are you taking iron tablets? They caused me massive issues Sad. Switched to Spatone liquid iron sachets and it all stopped.

KikiRC · 17/11/2011 13:27

Satsumas seem to have quite the opposite effect on me at the moment! Might be worth a try. X
