I've had this for weeks now - loads of mucus and the feeling of it running down the back of my throat making me feel sick and not wanting to eat. It doesn't matter how much I blow my nose it's always there. I've not had this in my previous pregnancies so I'm not sure if this is a sypmtom of pregnancy or a cold or something. I don't have a cough or anything else that goes with a cold though.

Does anyone else have this? It's really, really disgusting :(

BTW I'm 16 weeks.

Problems with sinuses are really common in pregnancy, it seems to be one of those things they tell you about and that you might also run the risk of nosebleeds.
I have this, one day my sinuses are all mucusy, and then another day i could tilt my head down and my nose starts running even though it felt like there was nothing there before hand.
The mucus thing makes me gag and wretch alot, and happens mostly in the morning. I don't know if you can do anything about it, i just kind of accepted it as something I had to get used to, so I never really looked into it, but some people might have some ideas on how to help this.
Good luck with it, I know how you feel!

Me,me,me!Fecking thing makes me retch, horrible slimy stuff,on and off,on and off.No running nose though but had 2 nosebleeds so far.Feeling of bile in my sometimes sore throat, heaviness and pains in the chest-haven't got a clue whether this slimy disgusting thing is clogging up my airways or is there something more serious happening in my chest(stopped smoking before I got pg).Over a month since the last visit to the doc and the bloody thing is still not gone.Sick of it (physically)Angry Angry Angry
