Perineal massage

Ok girlies...

I cannot do it on my own, i can't get two thumbs to reach (tmi), bump gets in the way! And no chance OH would help

Has anyone heard of a "gadget" of sorts that can be used instead? Im guessing somewhere must sell one!!

I've heard of Epi No! Can't say I've used it myself, but it might fit the bill?

There is one, it's called the epi no but it's pricey (IMO), I think around £100 when I looked. We were told about it in our hypnobirthing class. www.epi-no.co.uk/

I too can't reach but DH is doing it, perhaps have a chat with your OH, he might surprise you and agree to give you a hand (or rather two lol).
We've been doing it for a week now and it's actually been quite a fun time, lots of laughs at what we're doing and the looks on DH's face whilst doing it. And it's making a difference already.

I can't reach forward with my thumbs, but can reach round the back and hook a couple of fingers (of same hand).

kri5ty oh, well then I hope epi-no works out for you. My hypnobirthing teacher did suggest reaching round from behind as woodifer suggested but I can't reach from front or back lol.
