Have just read the alcohol and ADHD thread and am have now scared myself sh**tless that i have somehow damaged my baby by having a white wine and lemonade on new years eve

During my first pregnancy i didnt have any alochol whatsoever and tbh it really didnt bother me in the least.

However, this time around, what with it being christmas etc, i just thought i would treat myself.

In the whole of this pregnancy i've had the following:

1 glass white wine & lemonade
1 small glass rose
1 small glass white wine & lemonade

(over approx 2 month period)

Will this amount have caused any damage or am i just becoming victim to another bash of scare mongering??!!

would be absolutely astounded if this caused any problem. just think of the number of ladies (inc myself) with unplanned PGs who drank before they twigged they were PG.

I haven?t read that thread. What is the point in scaring ourselves to death when some researcher thinks they have discovered something new.

Did you know that just a couple hundred years ago, (before tea became readily available in this country) the most popular drink of choice was Ale. I wonder if all those children, over probably dozens of generations had ADHd

Cori - the thread i'm talking about is on this topic somehere - and you're abolsutely right. I also read in the paper at the weekend that too much chocolate during pregnancy is bad for you - is ANYTHING good for you these days??!
