As above, I am devastated and I don't know what to do. I saw my GP on Thursday to be referred to the midwife so I am not on the system yet. Do I just sit and see what happens or do I need to go to the hospital to check it out and if so where do I go ?Sad

So sorry, Sproglet. I mc-ed in Jnauary, and Mumsnet were a great support - just wanted to give some of that support back, and to wish you well.

I also wanted to echo LIG1979: even if you think you have miscarried, it is still important to go to EPU and have a scan, just to check it is complete...It is important to look after yourself.

I miscarried at 12 weeks, it was a missed miscarriage: probably only viable until about 6 weeks the consultant said. I'd had 2 very good earlier pregnancies and had been very complacent as was sick as a dog right up until the day I miscarried, and it was a huge shock when I started bleeding heavily one night. So I am so sorry, it really is horrid and a huge shock, and do use this forum if you feel you need somewhere to go...I found it hard in 'real life' as we hadn't told anyone we were pregnant - and I think sometimes if you have not experienced a miscarriage, one does not understand what an impact it does have. I certainly didn't in the past.

So sending you very best wishes.

Hi,

Try not to worry too much easier said than done I know, we went through a smilier thing at 6 1/2 weeks whilst away on holiday. I wen to the dr's the day we got back and was refered to the EPU here and everything was okay in the end.

I was advised that in the future if there was any doubt than A&E.

Best wishes xx
