Hi, this is dc2 but ds was induced so no idea what to expect in the early stages.
I'm 37 weeks and this evening have been getting lower back pains, period pains, achy thighs and i've been to the loo Blush twice. It sort of coming in waves but no real clear beginning and endings.
Any ideas if this could be anything?
Thanks

I've been having similar pains to yours for 2 weeks not but they never progress to the real thing but probably are early labour. Try using contraction timer it'll give you an idea if they are regular and if they are in a pattern.

It is true unfortunately, you will actually know when you are in labour.

i had several weeks of cramps and contractions, sometimes quite painful, and still ended up being induced. yes, sometimes it can indicate the start or labour, but most people i know have had this in the latter part of pregnancy and its just a normal part of the body getting itself ready, you will drive yourselves mad if you expect labour to come on every time this happens, and could still have a very long wait.
