Has anyone's dates been 2 weeks out but still everything ok?

So LMP was 21st sept, got BFP on 25th October. I had a bit of a bleed about a week later and went to epau where they did an internal scan where they saw an empty sac measuring 4mm. Bloods were taken and hcg was 1600, they were taken 2 days later and had risen to 2800 so not doubled but risen. Returned for a second scan 6 days after the first and they saw an 8mm sac with yolk.

Sonographer said it was a 5 week pregnancy and all seemed fine but by my estimations I should have been 7 weeks by this point. So has anyone had experience of this and what was the outcome? I'm just slightly worried that as I was ttc I am pretty sure of my dates and then with the bleed I just feel like no good can come of this.

Thanks in advance

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My scan at the EPU put me two weeks earlier than my dates estimated. I asked on here and people were busy calculating that I must have ovulated on day 36 of my cycle etc (actually, that was very helpful at the time a reassured me).

When I went for my 12 week scan it turned out to be my 14 week scan. DC2 had caught up again. I'll see what happens in 2 weeks at the 20 week one :)

Try not to worry, it'll all work out fine I'm sure.

Thank you for replying, it certainly makes me feel better hearing a good news story. Hope your 20 week scan goes ok, will you find out the sex? Or are you wanting a surprise? I found out with ds1&2 but think I might like a surprise this time. X

We found out with DS1. I'm on the fence this time, but I know DH wants to know, so we probably will ask.

Good luck!
