Can I take oral Canestan at 25 weeks?

Just a quick question really - the pharmacist has sold me the single tablet Canestan but the instructions say not to take if pg. He knew I was PG when I bought it.
I'm 25 weeks and have no symptoms (which is why I'd rather not faff around with the cream) but the doctors picked it up from a swab after white blood cells in a sample. They suggested Canestan as a brand.

Also - if I have no symptoms would it harm the baby if I didn't take anything at all for it???

Check with your doctor tomorrow or the nhs direct help line today. Its not worth the risk. Take care xxxx

The pharmasy I went to when I was pregnant was really iffy about selling me the cream at 35 weeks pregnant!
I'd agree with Simplyred, if you haven't got the symptoms there is no rush so you can speak to NHS or doctor first

Hmm - looks like a waste of £11.99 then.
Off to get some cream - you're right, it's just not worth the risk to take the tablet.
Thanks everyone.
