My husband and I starting trying for a baby last month, and I believe my ovulation would have been about two weeks ago with my period due this Monday coming. Since last Friday I've started to randomly feel sick at diff times of the day, even if I have eaten and I've had terrible indigestion with lots of gas and a bloated tummy. Today I woke up and my lower back has been really painful even though I've never had problems before. I.ended up crying lots at work, as my hormones felt all over the place.

I convinced myself that it would take ages to happen, and I don't want to get excited to be let down. Has anyone else had similar symptoms so early on?

Thanks in advance

I am in exactly the same situation as you! Have had mixed messages of people, some have said that you can get these symptoms this early, others said not think it depends on how intune you are to your body. I think its just a waiting game now, its so hard not to get excited thought isnt it! Only a few more days and we will finally have an answer! Fingers Crossed for you! x

Hi Laura, well we've not told anyone we're trying so work just thought I had a bad back. All my investigations have gone online. I really could do with taking some ibuprofen if I'm not, so I may take a test in the morning to see. The one I have works upto 4 days before, so 2 days should be ok. Tmrw night i'll either be very happy or enjoying a glass of vino when we are out for dinner :)

Good luck for you too. It's hard to be patient isn't it x

To be honest, the only thing you can rely on is a positive pregnancy test. So many signs/ feelings of early pregnancy are similar to the signs/ feelings of being pre-menstrual and the mind can play tricks when you really want something.

I'm speaking as someone who took 1 1/2 yrs to concieve my DD and who was convinced I was pregnant at every cycle preceeding that.

Fingers crossed for you x

I'e just been throught this. Lmp was 15 Oct, ovulation was 29 oct, got my bfp 10 Nov!

For the past 2 weeks I have had on and off nausea, cramping, wind, increased bowel movements, headaches, tender boobs and overly emotional.

I never usually get any symptoms before af. I got mixed responses too, some people thought it could be pregnancy, others thought it could be imminent af. I wasn't sure but I knew these symptoms weren't my imagination!

I tested last Saturday and Monday and got bfn both times then the bfp on the Thursday, a day before af was due.

Best of luck to you both! :)

OMG OMG, I have done a test this morning and its positive! 1 to 2 weeks apparently. Wow, that was quick! I'm in shock.

I'm pleased that I wasn't imagining all if those symptoms, and I don't mind them at all now there is something amazing at the end of it :) x
