Sharp Stabbing Pain advice please

hi i am 38+2 and just had a really sharp stabbing pain in the left hand side of my stomach.

It woke me up and i could move for a minute is this normal?

it really scared me and i just wanted some advice before i phone anybody!!

It could be trapped wind. I had that sometimes in later stages and sis had it a lot with her last. Hot drinks can help displace the gas. But if you're in any way concerned it could be something more then get medical advice.
