I've heard lots of people say that they went into labour a few days/hours after having a show but what about the start of a show?

I had a small loss last night and wondered what the unofficial stats were for losing the rest of your plug and then going into labour... stories please!!

Only recall starting to lose bits after a sweep at 40 weeks with DS2, went on for a week then stopped. He was 10 days late!

The other two I was in labour and remember being told, youve just had a show!

Good luck, when are you due?

Had one after sweep at 41 weeks.

Next time there was one was several hours into induced labour at 42+1.

I didn't have one until after my membranes were broken in hospital when I'd been in labour for several hours.

Thanks for those stories... I'm due on the 25th November so still a while to go yet! Been having some random painful contractions as well as strong BH. I guess it doesn't really say anything except that maybe the contractions are starting to cause changes to the cervix....

Makes me feel better to think there's a purpose to them! Grin

Now if I can just stop running to the toilet to check for more show... Blush
