Still not sure if I've felt baby move...

I'm 22 weeks and I'm still not sure if I've felt anything... I felt (and saw) a couple of tiny movements yesterday night while I was laying on the sofa. At 20 week scan, scan lady said the placenta was all at the front so it's usually a bit later that you start feeling things. But this late?? I just can't help worrying! Heard baby's heart beat at every midwife appointment, nice & strong, and have no reason to think anything is wrong but I would really like the reassurance of feeling some regular movement! :-(

Not unusual at all with an anterior placenta, so don't worry. I was told it'd be more like 26wks as I have anterior placents, but as it was I was sure I was being hooved at 16wks and was getting poppings from 12wks. I'm certainly getting hooved more than I actually feel, (like you, if I lie there and watch I see some more movements too) and I've got a breakdancing maniac in there at 29wks...she's currently headbutting my boob (which is resting on her head in fairness).

I had an anterior placenta with my first and didn't start feeling regular movements (i.e.more than a possible once a week) until 24 weeks and the RCOG guidelines state as late as 28w is normal for those of us with anterior placentas. So not much that you can be sure of at 22w is perfectly normal, worry not.
