I know it's a strange question, but I'm due on Thursday and don't 'feel' like I'm about to give birth anymore than I did last week, the week before or even before I was pregnant.

I'm fed up and uncomfortable all of the time but have just got used to it as a state of being, rather than something that's going to lead to birth.

Does this mean I'm going to go over and end up being induced? Or did other peoples' labours begin spontaneously, say after a normal day?

It feels like everyone's waiting on me.

No. I didn't feel any different at all.

I felt 'normal' like you. I was convinced I would be late and dreaded it. Also convinced I would have a boy. Also believed that 1st labours take hours/days.

After a normal day, went into labour about 11pm, and my daughter was born 4 1/2 hours later, 4 days early.

They come when they're ready. Good luck.

Felt normal i.e. fat and knackered. Had a few very mild period like pains on my due date and then 3 days later I woke up and my waters broke. But even once my waters went (gushing every half hour or so throughout the day) I didn't feel like baby was coming any time soon until the evening when contractions really got going.

That's great to know - I've been saying t same kinda thing - I just feel so 'normal' - having gotten used to being pregnant as a state of being!! This is just who I am now!!
My due date is today - have felt more normal than usual - but ive been stressing that u should know that something is gonna happen before it does or have some signs - glad to know it can happen pretty straightforward and u don't have to feel all these signs too much in advance!!
Fingers crossed for something to happen soon tho - I am getting a wee bored!!

I had bits of jelly coming out & slight period like pains for about the 10 days before

Then the day before I felt a bit light headed, as if there was a new hormone floating round in my blood! Also my body told me somehow not to go to aquanatal. Still felt 'normal' enough to go to Morrisons though.
