I look huge and only 11 weeks,could this be twins?

i am only 11 weeks and three days pregnant. i have already put on a stone and gone from a size 8 to a good 12/14. I look like a have swallowed a football.
My bump is def bigger on one side than the other. Is this a sign of twins? i am a twin.
is anyone else as big as i am at this stage?

I hadn't put on that much weight, but I'm 21 weeks now and I swear I looked bigger at 11 weeks than I do now. It was all bloating. BUT the fact that yours is accompanied by weight gain, as well as being a twin yourself.....prepare youself for your scan in the next few weeks won't you

It's probably mostly water retention and gas

Is it your first? If nnot, you'll be bigger earlier than the first time.

I am a twin and was sooo bloated too so was super scared that I was having twins, but had a dating scan and it was just 1 in there. So for me it was just massive amounts of water retention and bloating.

Don't worry about it I started to look big really early on even though I have only gained 8lbs and I am 15 weeks +2 . My bump was suprise to the midwife as it is so pronounced.

The MW said it has a lot to do with how big/small you were to begin with and as a tall size 8 I started showing.

hi,it's my 2nd and my stomach muscles are shot already, is anyone else asymmetrical?

I am pregnant with my second DC as well and have noticed my little bump is definitely bigger on the left hand side as well. I am just assuming my stomach muscles are weaker on that side. (I'm 12 weeks and my 8 week scan only showed one baby.)

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I showed very early 2nd time round- was in maternity clothes by 8 weeks. We are pleased to be having TRIPLETS!

I looked like I had put on a lot of weight in my first trimester, but it seemed to be water retention. I look much slimmer now bizarrely and haven't put on any more weight and I'm now half way through the second trimester, so I assume I have swapped water weight for actual baby!

Good luck whether it is one or two - keep us posted when you've had your scan!

kentdee congratulations on your triplets, you must be very excited, i measured my bump today and i am 8 inches bigger! i have scan on monday i will let you know if it is twins,triplets or more! x

dobby, how's your morning sickness? I'm 14w pregnant with twins (and yes, I did show early - about 11w) but the main thing I noticed was that the morning sickness was mental.
