14 weeks and bleeding brown blood

Noticed about 30 mins ago that I was bleeding - it's really really brown and I don't have cramping so I'm not inclined to freak out about it (I had bright red blood 2 weeks ago, the morning of my scan, and they could see the bit which looked like it was the culprit but all was fine).

It's stopped but still present when I wipe... what say you, Mumsnet? Haul arse to A&E, phone out-of-hours midwife (which is basically the maternity unit) or not worry about it? I have a GP appointment tomorrow anyway so will of course mention it, but is it worth me doing anything about it tonight? It's the fact that it's brown that has me less worried.

Is it just a little bit when you wipe?

This happened to me and I was told it is "cervical erosion", and can be brought on by having sex, and that its nothing to be alarmed about if there are no cramps and the blood is brown.

Id get it checked out by GP tomorrow just to be sure.

It's probably left over blood from your bright red bleed making its way out. Not an A&E job (what will they do anyway, useless feckers?)...but I'd ring MW who will probably just tell you to keep an eye on it.

I had bleeding at 5 11 and 15 weeks bright red and cramps had scans each time all fine 33 weeks now. I would say better to get it checked out to put your mind at rest I got brown blood at 15 weeks and it cant have been left over from 11 I got it after shopping so I have just took it easy since then. I know people who bleed bright red blood no problems and people who have no signs and have had problems so its not always a indication something wrong but best have it checked anywayxx
