Getting a Mat B Certificate if you are going Private?

Has anyone done this and will the NHS provide one for you if you have decided to go private for your antenatal care and delivery? As I'm paying bloody fortunes for the private care (had a complete nightmare on the NHS with my daughter's birth last year) I thought it would be nice to at least benefit from the free prescriptions and dental care.

It is the exemption certificate that gives free prescription, maybe see your GP as it needs to be signed by MW + think it is after 12 weeks.
MatB1 is for work/maternity leave.
