Green tinted jelly-like discharge?

Sorry for TMI but like most newly pregnant girls I am paranoid about every little symptom I have...
So for the past few days I had jelly like discharge that was mostly transparent. Today I noticed that it had greenish tint to it. It is still pretty clear and doesn't smell of anything but very pale green. I hope this is not an infection...

You should go to your gp asap and get a swab done to see if there is an infection. Get an emergency appt if you have to.

How far along are you? If you're nearly cooked it could be your mucus plug. The green suggests meconium to me and, like mmmcheese says you need to get it checked out urgently. Good luck.

I had this in the beginning. It was harmless, but worth getting swabbed by the GP to rule out any infection.

Oh, thank you. I was waiting all the day for someone to say something. I am going to get a swab tomorrow but I doubt this might be an infection. Apart from a weird shade the discharge does not look like an infection. Thanks again. Hope everything is going well with you:)

Could it be your pre-natal vitamins turning your pee a weird shade? The ones I've been taking for the last 3 months made my pee a really bizarre fluroescent yellowy green, and sometimes when I wiped after going to the loo it showed up on the loo paper a lot more due to the colour. Scared the hell out of me the first time it happened, and took me a while to figure out where it was coming from! But agree that you should check with your doc.

I've read about this symptom before and it doesn't seem to be terribly uncommon at all. Only the most vigilant of gusset investigators will pick up on it though.

Thanks for your replies! Today the discharge seems to be returned to normal, I am considering to cancel nurse appointment for a swab.

You may asvwell still go just to be sure. Would be very annoying if it returned tomorrow and worried you again!
