Phantom pregnancy

Anyone had one of these? Sore nipples, clonstipation, boaking at the sight of eggs, extreme broodiness... All the symptoms I had when first pregnant with my son. Definitely not pregnant as I had my last period as normal and have not shagged since then.

Have you had a phantom pregnancy? How long did it last?

I had two "periods" whilst pg with my DS bit of a shock when we went for my "12 week" scan...

Real, actual periods, with clots and everything?

Can happen I am afraid, implantation bleeding being one very simple answer of the many.
Take a test any time of day will give you a result since you are potentially 8 weeks.... If neg I would just say you have a virus :)
Oh and tell us the result.

MIL had one just before she had DP. It was in the days before home pregnancy tests and scans etc. She did get pregnant for real during her phantom pregnancy, so always says she was pregnant for 13 months with him!!

Oh, and I had a 'period' back in January, and got a BFP 10 days later. Turns out the bleeding was from a haemmorage on my uterus wall. DD is now asleep on my tummy!!

Such was my desperation for a baby that i was convinced almost every month like some kind of mad baby/pregnancy freakish stalker maniac...
Very strong symptoms, even as far as being 2-4 days late for my period.
I once did a pregnancy test, then about half an hour later, AF arrived, was gutted.

Thats all over and done with now THANK Christ!
Very distressing and very confusing
