POAS but second line has vanished?

Last night I did a test and a faint 2nd line came up. This morning I checked the test to see if I'd imagined it and the line has gone! It was only a cheap test though!

I'm pretty sure that pregnancy tests are like fireworks - you shouldn't return once they've gone off! If there was a positive line when you first did it, I would say you're up the duff.

Of course, I could be wrong and I am merely a random stranger off t'internet, so FGS don't go by me. POAS (another one!) and report back here immediately - go on!

I'm going to go and get a new test in a minute. Well once I've plucked up the courage anyway!

I found my pregnancy tests from last year the other day & the line is still visable.
How long after doing the test did you see the line?
Could it be an evaporation line?

Just re-tested and negative. Can't quite work out if I'm gutted or relieved!

Perhaps go to the GP as they say a positive result is far more reliable than a negative test.
