Hey girlies, just asking a BH question!! im just wondering if this is one?

I have a pain at the top of my bump, it feels very crampy, and kind of makes me feel sick?? And takes my breath away. I can't feel my stomach tighten though, and my bump is always hard, so i cant tell if its getting any harder

How far along are you?

Before about 30wks (and I say about as it varies) BH probably shouldn't hurt, but they might for you...

Def. worth ringing MW and getting their opinion. Could also be heartburn, indigestion, ligament pains, infection etc. Have a look
"Braxton Hicks contractions:
are infrequent, usually happening no more than once or twice an hour, a few times a day
often stop if you change activity, so, walk around if you've been sitting, and vice versa
are usually irregular, and if they are regular they only stay that way for a short spell
do not last long, usually less than a minute
continue to be unpredictable and non-rhythmic
do not increase in intensity here and see if this fits.
Ring MW for advice. Probably nothing, but best be safe.
fx for you!

Hi

Def depends how far along you are. It's your uterus tightening, so is obviosly felt there. I am having them at 16 weeks (with twins) and though i have quite a large bump, the top of it is obviously what has been pushed up partly to make room for the babies, so I'm feeling strong, uncomfortable tightenings very low in my bump. Last time I had them from 22 weeks, and it was similar- very low, strong, bit uncomfortable and even though my bump was also solid (all the comments were 'oooh, you're all bump!') it goes rock solid, you'll feel the difference- my dh/friends could feel my BH last time. They weren't painful til near the end last time.

I'd ask the mw, and see what she thinks.
Good luck!
