Do you mean you are 1/2 weeks late? You can't be 1/2 weeks pregnant.

Sorry showing 1-2 weeks on a positive clear blue digital test so 4 days late x

Oh sorry, you confused me. OK so nearly 5 weeks. That makes sense.

I don't know how to advise you other than to say I completely understand where you are at, DD is 3 months old now and I became pregnant with her after 2 MCs since having DS (2 MCs in 6 months and then took another 18 months to become pregnant with her). I was a nervous wreck for 9 months.

Is it worth telling you to try to relax? No, that's stupid. You won't anyway. Try and bear in mind what my consultant told me "every single human being you ever meet is the result of a successful pregnancy".

Hi Jezza

Congratulations on your bfp, but I totally understand how stressful the early weeks are.

There is a really lovely supportive thread on here called the Freak Out Room for people who are pregnant again after previous miscarriage(es). There are a couple of other similar threads too which I'm sure are just as supportive too.

I've found the freak out room though to be so helpful and supportive, especially in those early weeks.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you anyway that this pg goes well for you.

Good luck xx

Hi!!

I completely understand how your feeling!! I have a positive story
:)
1st pregnancy I had a MC at 8weeks
2nd pregnancy I was so scared, several 100 knicker checks, the day b4 12 weeks I celebrated by buying my 1st baby clothes...the next day I started bleeding, went for a scan and baby had died at 8weeks so was booked for for a d&c the following day.

3rd pregnancy was terrifying, buy I had a beautiful dd now 3.6 and due to hav DS in 5weeks!!!

Fingers crossed for you!! Wishing you all the best!!

I miscarried last year and it's taken 18months and several rounds of fertility treatment to conceive again. I am 11 weeks tomorrow and we have seen the heartbeat three times now. I have been neurotic. I have visited the freakoutroom and they are all lovely and very understanding over there.

I went to my GP for some reassurance as had light bleeding the day after our BFP. He explained to me that the viability of the pregnancy is decided at conception. Whether the egg and sperm are strong enough and compatible enough is determined at that moment and nothing can be done to change that now. There are external factors which can cause complications, one of which is stress, so the best thing to do is relax and take it easy. DO things that make you calm and let time do the rest. It's not quite that easy but the analogy has helped me at my most anxious times.
