18 weeks pregnant today. Had a letter from Eon saying I've not paid since August when I have, actually reset my D/D for 15th each month on the 3rd of this month. Since then they've tried to take 4 direct debits in October and incurred me £40 bank charges. They tried telling me it's my banks and my fault. Finished on the phone and just cried!!
Pregnancy or crappy Eon?...

Poor you :(

Shit happens, pregnant or no. I had almost £300 worth of fraud on my joint account when I was eight months pregnant. Sobbed down the phone to the bank about how unfair it was that I was scouring eBay for my baby's nursery when some arse was out buying jewellery with money I didn't have.

Tell Eon that you have paid and that as a pregnant lady you could do without the stress. IME they tend to brick themselves at the thought of being to blame for pregnant lady bother and will suck up the charges. Speak to a supervisor if need be. No one wants to be on the receiving end of those hormones!

Wow! Eon stalks MN?! I wonder who else lurks on here in secret?
Hope your problems get sorted soon lovely - being pregnant certainly doesn't help but I imagine that would be a frustrating situation at any time
