Internet cheapies getting fainter - Help!

Got a BFP on Saturday at 13dpo using an internet cheapie, line was faint but definitely there. Did another on Sunday, which I think was a fraction darker, but still faint. Stupidly did another one on Tues which was still very faint - had hoped it would be getting darker by then. So did yet another one this morning (still using fmu) and it's incredibly faint. I'm 18dpo and worrying that the pregnancy is failing. This is a much wanted pregnancy as we've had fertility issues and I'm desperate for it to be ok.

Will buy a better test today to use in the morning - but does it look like I might not be pregnant anymore? Sad

Step away from the pee sticks! if you have to pee on another, do a decent one and then leave well alone.

When I was pregnant I dunked 5 cheapies into the same pot of wee and every single one was a different shade.

Stop peeing on sticks.

The darkness of the line can be influenced by many things, such as how much water you have drunk. It doesn't mean anything.

Not sure what the dpo thing means, when was your period due?

PinkCustard · 03/11/2011 14:17

I know - I should have just been happy with the original BFP!

MmeLindor dpo is days past ovulation - period was due last Saturday.

On reflection I don't think the lines have actually been getting any lighter, but they haven't been getting darker either, which I would have expected by now. Anyway have got a docs app next week so am hoping they'll do their own test, which will hopefully be positive.

I think because we've been trying for so long I'm just struggling to believe that it's finally happened (and that it will actually result in a baby).

Thanks for your replies x

Pink
My neighbour called me into gaze at 4 different pregnancy tests, all at different times of the day and all very faint.

She is due in January and everything has gone well in her pregnancy.

Try not to worry too much (I know, I know) and CONGRATULATIONS.

Come back and let us know, won't you?

Decided against buying another test as i'm just driving myself crazy with them - have decided (for now at least) that as long as I have no signs to suggest otherwise, I'll just assume I am still happily pregnant.

Thanks Smile

Firstly congratulations!!!!!!
Secondly, don't be surprised if the doctor doesn't do a test, mine just took my word for it (of course I left afterwards and went straight to buy yet another test just in case me and DH had imagined it all lol).
Enjoy, we had fertility issues as well and just to have even got pregnant was a huge boost for us as they told us it wouldn't happen naturally.
Here's hoping you have a happy, healthy pregnancy :)
