Seriously, I've never poo'd so much in my life...I'm 37+5 and I'm averaging about 4 a day!!! Is this normal??

You will go into labour soon . It's normal , sort of system clearing for the big event .

Good luck Grin

Yup, the morning of the day when I went into labour in the afternoon I had what one might call a 'gippy tummy' and went lots of times...

So, either labour is pending (is this your first?) or, y'know, you've eaten something dodgy? Grin

Keep us posted and good luck!

chezziejo · 01/11/2011 17:51

I was the same with first one. Major clear out and labour next day. Good luck Hun, soon have baby in your arms hopefully :-)

This was the start of my labour... although it took a week and a half to actually get going properly!! Exciting :)

Roz hasn't been back to update her Op .

I think she has popped .... Waiting for update Grin

roz1982 · 06/11/2011 21:12

No I haven't yet!!!!!! Still lots of clearing going on, but think it might be baby position rather than imminent labour now!! He just feels far too comfortable in there...I do have a new symptom though, for last three days have had weird metallic taste in my mouth almost constantly!! Anyone else?

God I'm so ready to have this baby...

Roz ! No baby yet ? , no labour pains ?

....not even a Braxton hicks ?

Disappointed , in you babyRoz ! Not making an appearance yet..

Funny taste could be a sign , body chemistry changes ect.
Does he feel like he's lower down ? Might just be very slow start.

I know for gods sake babyroz get a bloody move on!! Am having Braxton hicks yes, but baby seems to sometimes be lower and sometimes right up under my ribs again creating a boulder type effect, incredibly uncomfortable!!!

Also, in relation to my original post, I keep thinking poo pains might be start of contractions?!!? Blush

Midwives have stated that the head is still 'free' on my notes so don't reckon he's one tiny little bit engaged!!!!

first babys engage about 2 weeks before the birth , second , third ect dont need to be engaged before labour starts .

Hi droves

I'm shattered today!! Yes this is first... I really hope he is on his way down! He still feels high up to me though...I'm 39 weeks on Thursday, so still got a little bit to go til due date...just hope I don't go too much over, I really am feeling big!! Hormones are definitely on the change though- I feel different, spots on face weird taste in mouth, but nothing that really says "labour is starting, real soon!!!" ho hum.

Oh getting near your due date ....Grin

From what remember ( was a while since I've been pg) , I think your supposed to get an iffy tummy , then loads of energy just before the labour starts. When the baby drops into position you should be able to breath a bit better and if you have heartburn it sort of goes , suppose is to do with more room inside iykwim ?

Good luck when it happens. X
